A ceremony to cherish

Your wedding should be the story of your love

Whether your taste is traditional or modern, practical or romantic, goth or rock and roll, spiritual or secular, or a mixture of all of these, together, we can compose a ceremony which is truly meaningful to you. That is the beauty of having a celebrant. You can do what you want, where you want!

Your wedding

Your Wedding Ceremony can take place where you want, when you want and include music, readings and specially chosen extra elements to suit you. Together, we will create an individual, unique ceremony to make your day special, and just how you want it to be. Your Ceremony sets the tone for the whole day and is at the centre of what the day is all about.

By having a Celebrant you have real flexibility in your wedding and that makes what I do most exciting! You can choose the time you would like your ceremony to take place including sunrise, sunset, midnight. You can choose the place you want to hold your ceremony, inside a favourite building which doesnt have a license, at home or even outside in a place that is special to you. You really can design a wedding that truly tells your story.

Although, to be legally married in England and Wales, you still have to complete the basic legal requirements of marriage registration in front of a Registrar at a suitably licensed venue, that shouldnt stop you from having a perfect ceremony that means the most to you. Most of my couples register their marriage a day or two before their wedding ceremony and I will talk you through all of that if you do decide to book with me.

I would love to work with you to make your day thoroughly special.

Let's have a chat

From the first meeting with Ruby we knew we wanted her to be our celebrant! She has a wonderful way with words and most importantly, it feels personal! From the outset she explained everything to us and gave us all our options for the service, as well as bits of advice during the planning process. She prioritised getting to know us through chats over Skype – which bridged the gap in time between booking and the big day. With Ruby finding out so much about us, the words she spoke at our ceremony meant so much more, they weren’t coming from a stranger or someone who assumed what we were like as people, she knew who we were as individuals but also as a couple.

The majority of our guests had never been to a “non church wedding” before and they all loved Ruby and the ceremony we’d put together with her (we had a few readings, a hand fasting and a tree planting). So many people commented on how wonderful she was. Our wedding went perfectly and Ruby was the first part of it all so got us off to a great start!

If we ever renew our vows, she’ll be the first person we call *5 STARS*
